Poongar Rice
-
Poongar is a precious traditional red rice variety, often called "Women’s Rice" in Tamil Nadu. Cultivated by our farmers in the fertile Cauvery delta, this unpolished grain is celebrated for supporting women through various life stages. With its slightly nutty flavour and soft texture, it is an excellent choice for daily meals, idli batter, or nutritious porridges.
